For centuries Tamarillo grew wild in Ecuador. Until one day, barely 40 years ago, an agricultural engineer shared the secrets of successfully cultivating this versatile plant. Armed with this knowledge our family decided to produce Tamarillo in an organized way that benefited our community.
For decades the farmers of our family have been growing and studying the Tamarillo and distributing this wonderful fruit locally in Ecuador. Now we want to share our Ecuadorian Tamarillo with the world!
